It's time for John McCain to undergo an exam for mental competence

The man has lost it. His personal vendetta against Susan Rice defies reason. His principal complaint seems to be that Rice did not disclose classified information about Al Qaeda's role in the attack in Benghazi. But if Rice had disclosed that info, she would have violated the law. Surely McCain should know this. So what is behind his relentless attacks on Rice? The election is over. The man has lost it. It is time for him to undergo neurological and psychiatric examinations.

I don't see Graham and Ayotte as real factors here. Graham always follows McCain's lead, and they've somehow convinced Ayotte to join them so they don't look like two guys attacking a woman. When McCain shuts up, the others will follow.

be the "October Surprise" that was to embarrass Pres Obama and give Rmoney the edge. What a foreign relations coup. And let's say that McCain and Rmoney knew about it. Rmoney was quick on the talking points and seemed sure that it was the coup de grace. And could believe that it failed. Anyway, let's continue with my CT, intelligence doesnt want to tip their hand that they were investigating who was responsible, maybe even a General, so they submit a cover story to stall. When McCain hears Ms. Rice relating the cover story that he knows is not true he goes off the rails. After all he is pissed that the "Surprise" wasnt as intended and someone had to pay.

Who says CT's cant be fun?

You know how we all sort of nick-named him "McGrumpy"? Well, it's fitting. He's really been under way too much stress. Start with his stint as POW that has earned him a lifetime of service in the Senate - and that's no stretch.

From then on, it's gone down hill. How many repuKKKe races did he run and get spanked in? Then he runs against a little known Senator named Barack Obama, and gets his ass handed to him in humiliating style.

Now, he has no claim to fame; but LOTS of anger and lots of defeats in his pathetic life. Hell, he's got all the beer he'll ever want to drink with his mistress/wife. Pack your bags, you crazy old fart, and go out to pasture. The country doesn't need you now, has never needed you, and you never really served your country other than to be a poster child for POW's in Vietnam.

This twisted old fart seriously does need a mental evaluation. I'm first to sign the paper. He's so full of piss and vinegar; and remember - we aren't talking about the sharpest knife in the draw from the start - fifth from the bottom of his class at the Naval Academy.

Just go away mcAncient. You've been a rock around our neck since you became one of Mitt the Draft-dodging Coward's 47%.

Makes for an excellent argument for term limits for the Senate and Congress.

Some of these guys, like Ryan, are still relatively young, but are already batshit-crazy with their extreme, whacky ideology. Can you imagine what they'll be like when they get to McCain's age? Oy vey!!

In a different look at this, Rachel Maddow surmised that this is all about getting John Kerry as Sec State so they have a chance to get a Repub back in. Scott Brown?

It sucks having to not nominate someone due to not losing the seat. Kerry is stuck.

Sounds better than McCains nonsense.

McCain has hit the Republican caucus's term limits for his ranking member seat on the Foreign Affairs committee. The only ranking member seat available for him in the new Congress is on the Indian Affairs committee.

That committee isn't going to keep the press kissing his ass. Heck, it'll be hard to keep getting on the Sunday shows every weekend.

But if there's a special committee to investigate Benghazi, someone will have to sit in that ranking member seat. And the person in that seat will get all sorts of attention from the press.........

There are no requirements regarding mental stability for being a Senator. It's almost impossible to remove a sitting Senator, except at the next election. It's conceivable that the Senate itself could refuse to seat or remove a Senator, but I don't think that's ever happened. It's not likely to, either.

Work to get rid of him in the next election. That's about it.
