I am so thankful

that in this last election, the coalition between labor, feminists, environmentalists, GLBT individuals, racial minorities, intellectuals, and half a dozen other groups held together.

Even though we have our moments of disagreement, we're all on the same side.

you can't buy our country out from under us. I had a smile on my face for a week, but I didn't gloat to my Republican friends. That just didn't seem right. We ALL dodged a bullet that the Mittwit and for that I too am so thankful. Way to go, PEOPLE.

look what we were up against voter caging.. big money, bad press.. and we still won handily...

those long voting lines will be looked back on much as we look back on the early civil rights movement.. Little Rock Central High.. Birmingham..

I am so thankful. It would have been the end of this country as we know it had Rawmoney gotten in there.

Yeah, like that! Siblings can be at each others throats one minute but when someone tries to mess with one - watch out!!

They sure did try everything to pit group against group (let's get into the black churches and rile them up with the same sex marriage debate) but at the end of the day it did not work!!

This election was AWESOME!!

It is wonderful.

I'd like to add the youth to this list.

I was so proud to watch my son and daughter-in-law gather their friends and their friends of friends to vote this year; and they have plans to do the same for 2014 because they don't want another tea-bagging 2010 to happen again.

I am very thankful that President Obama will continue to be my, and our President.
