Obama's Deal (Frontline)

With the "fiscal deal" looming, I watched a Frontline documentary, Obama's Deal. Produced in 2010, about the passage of the Affordable Care Act.

A sobering look at the push to reform health care, revealing the realities of American politics, the power of special interest groups and the role of money in policy making.About what happened behind the scenes.

The documentary contrasts Obama's & Clinton's approach to health care reform - the role of lobbyists etc. I found it very informative.

It can be viewed along with analysis at

It is also on Netflix.
