http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/11/28/mitt-romney-obama_n_2204233.htmlAt first I thought it was unnecessary, but now I like the idea since the President can rub it into Romney that Obama will be there for the next 4 years!

(115,761 posts)Serving Romney peanut butter sandwiches and potato chips (with 7-11 cookies for dessert) might be kind of mean. I think it should be an elegant gourmet meal, served by white-gloved waiters. Romney could easily afford such a meal himself, of course, but it would probably twist his knickers just a bit tighter for his host to be that black guy who bought the election by giving stuff to the undeserving 47%.

been a pain in the you know where ever sense. Mitt, too, is still bitter. My Prez needs to understand that these people do not like him and a formal beer summit will not change that.

(5,624 posts)according to the elder Gods of planet Kolob. So a "beer summit" would be more like a "Caffiene Free Diet Coke" summit.

(12,272 posts)I had never heard that it is a tradition, no press is allowed, but maybe that is all it is.

(15,558 posts)but it's another unnecessary, troubling gesture from our compromise-obsessed president.
