Is Lindsey Graham a greater threat to Social Security & Medicare than Grover Norquist?

When a senator proposes screwing the middle class by agreeing to eliminating tax deductions as long as Democrats take the blame for screwing the middle class out of their funded Social Security benefits, and is then held up by the corporate media as "demonstrating the bipartisan spirit needed to forestall a plunge off the fiscal cliff", I feel the urge to vomit.

Personally, I feel more threatened by a "compromise" on terms acceptable to the Lindsey Grahams of this world, than by going over the "fiscal cliff" in a standoff with the Norquist pledgers.
