Ohio requires we have to keep a governor for a year before we can recall him. Kasich has been on borrowed time for a year now. If he pulls another stunt like the union busting SB5 again, there may be a petition.

I can't imagine a full six year of him. We were lucky to survive the James A Rhodes era as it was... literally if you attended Kent State.

Kasich's finishing his second year. I'm sure there would have been a recall attempted by now if it is allowed. Second, governors serve 4 year terms in Ohio.

Last I heard, Kasich was rushing with his Republican majority to amend the law to only allow recall in case of a serious legal offense. I don't know whatever became of that attempt, but that's how he's been running the show here.

I know govs are in four years. I don't know why I typed six, perhaps because it seemed Taft was around forever (2 terms).
