I'd love to see Peter Kings convention speech if Gingrich is nominated.
<snip>
"As Republicans, we cannot afford him to be our nominee," said King, according to a transcript sent out by the Romney campaign. "The House is on the line this year. I believe we can take back the Senate. We have to win the presidency. Having Newt at the top puts all of that in danger. And then, if he were elected president, to me the whole country would be in danger."

(32,886 posts)He is probably one of the more reasonable folks in the Repug caucus. I'd still work hard to replace him with a Democrat, but there are plenty of folks I'd work to replace first.

(25,111 posts)understand this logic. King is a total sociopath as well as Newt. Y'think they would be holding hands at this point. Heck all the tea brats should be holding hands at this point and pull for Newt.
News alert - Most of the goppers in the lime light are nutso, including Mittens.

(62,534 posts)his choice is: don't vote for the facsist, vote for the corporatist.
fuck him. if that's the kind of choice is promoting for the US, then he's just as fucked up as those two assholes.
the lizard nor the empty shirt are neither viable candidates.
While I have my issues with Obama, I would be damned if I don't vote for him.
To me, the choice is sane human or a batshit crazy fill in th blank corporate controled repuke.
