I'd like to know the answer myself, it would reveal something about how willing he is to fight for positions.

I watch Up with Chris Hayes and the MHP show, so my next question is, of whom did he ask the question? If it was a Democrat, it was an ideal opening to show strength. If a Republican, then I would have to agree with you.

He further said...The red states were very red, the blue states very blue. Schieffer's tone was one of scoffing at the notion of a mandate.

The correct way to ask that question would be...What additional momentum comes out of the election for Obama...was there a mandate, and if so, to do what?

You want your questions framed in a manner you think is more advantageous to the president. The 'additional momentum' is a nice touch.

If you don't like him, why do you watch him? He won't go away as long as he is getting the ratings.

Not that I feel a big need to explain anything to you but I wanted to watch Geithner, saw him on Fox, then switched to CBS. Why do you feel a need to ask why I choose to watch something?

of additional momentum.

You could have any number of reasons why you still watch his program after stating that you think Schieffer should retire. As I don't watch his show, I was wondering if I should tune in. Sorry you object to being questioned.... I'll be sure not to bother again.

would be: "Did any additional momemtum..." The "What" word was the push.

To the OP-Yes Scheiffer needs to retire.

Coming off watching Geithner on Fox, Shieffer's questions were not much different in fox-speak. On Fox, Wallace a couple of times said...I just talked to Boehner and... Nice that they got questions from Boehner. I thought Geithner did well both times...assertive, knowledgeable, calm. He made the case well.
