All of Hunter Moore’s Personal Information Is Now on the Internet, Thanks to Anonymous

For those of you who don't know who Hunter Moore is--he's that asshat who had a website that invited people to send in photos of naked women they were dating, seeing, ex-girlfriends, etc. But, that wasn't enough for Moore, he would also post links to their facebook accounts and other social media. (He did this to a handful of guys as well).

Moore was very public about his feelings--he didn't care if it ruined their lives or not.

Finally he was under attack so much he pulled the plug on his website. Well, a few weeks ago he started to go public saying he had saved all the old photos and had a lot more new ones and that he was going to put them on a new website. But this time around he was going to post the women's addresses, google maps to their homes, their phone numbers--every detail about them that he could.

Granted...if you send a naked photo out to some guy you are dating, you have no control over it. But this bottom feeder Moore made it a competition to get guys to betray as many women as they could, etc. etc. This added threat of posting their addresses and home numbers takes it to a new level. It puts the girls in danger. (and most of the women on Moore's website were 18, 19...young girls who probably had no idea a naked shot to a boyfriend could be used in such a way, let alone that they would be posted for every person in the world to show up on their doorstep).

Anonymous just hacked Hunter Moore and put out all his information. I don't know if that is right or not, but I hope he is at least learning how it feels.

http://gawker.com/5966312/all-of-personal+information-publisher-hunter-moores-personal-information-is-now-on-the-internet-thanks-to-anonymous

Over the weekend, hacktavist collective Anonymous declared a formal vendetta against sext troll Hunter Moore, who recently announced plans to relaunch a revenge-porn site and publish addresses of people he doesn't like. Anonymous wasn't kidding: yesterday, they briefly took down HunterMoore.tv and now, they claim to have hacked into his servers earlier this morning. Their account appears in the video above and here via Pastebin:

December the 6th at approximately 2 am eastern time the team infiltrated the site and defaced it after a day of denial of service attacks on his servers, and his merchandise chain. We have backed up his entire archive to the web to preserve evidence. He has since restored an alternate version of his website with different text at the bottom. We will pursue access to his site and bring it down effectively. This is an update, a leak of proof and data that would otherwise be hidden from public view, of a team of anons who have worked day and night on this case, and who continue their vigilance even as this is written here today.

There is a damning amount of personal information in the same Pastebin text file, including including addresses, passwords, his ftp site, logins, his social-security number, affiliated IP addresses, server providers, and so much more. Amusingly, they also say to have signed him up for Soundcloud Lite via his credit card.

But hey, it's 2012, everything's on the Internet.

What if the guy planted a hidden camera and took photos of her naked (or videos) when they were having sex or just before or just after when she was just getting dressed or undressed? What if the woman never even knew ANYONE HAD TAKEN A PHOTO OF HER? And then the guy takes the photos from his hidden camera and posts them online.

What if a woman in question NEVER "posed" for anything?

So, why don't we just acknowledge that HE is the problem, not the naked pictures.

As somebody who has both posed naked for life drawing classes and drawn many, many naked people, male and female, there is no shame in nudity. There are only people with a warped sense of the power and/or "shame" nudity bestows.

They are not being sexualized. They do not intend sexuality. (Although there is the occasional outlier who is stricken from the list posthaste.)

They are no more interested in getting "it out in public" than a cadaver in a medical student's anatomy class.

Thu Dec 6, 2012, 10:15 PM
Dec 2012

This is Hunter Moore. When he was broke and sitting on his parents’ couch in Sacramento, he founded the now-defunct site Is Anyone Up so he and his buddies could “post pictures of girls we were fucking at the time.” It grew to be an infamous “revenge porn” site where users submitted nude photos of their exes before shutting down amid legal troubles earlier this year.

Now he’s back with a new site that is basically the same–but worse. While the user-submitted photos on Is Anyone Up included the person’s name and links to social media profiles, the new site will also include a field for exact address.

In case it was at all unclear that the point of this new feature is to allow users to physically stalk the subjects, Moore told Betabeat,“We’re gonna introduce the mapping stuff so you can stalk people.”

opponent, so people could recognize her home where she lives with her husband and kids, posted her info on his web site so people could be sure to find them.

Other behaviors have suggested he is not a nice person at all, has little to no empathy for others, near as I can tell. He was charged with assault, I believe, after pulling a gun on an unarmed person in a road rage case.

Someone painted a couple of his signs with swastikas (not me, though I thought it was completely appropriate), he filed police complaints and wants the artist jailed.
