A nurse at the private hospital which treated the Duchess of Cambridge has been found dead in a suspected suicide – two days after being duped by a prank call from Australian radio DJs.

The hospital, which has paid tribute to "a first class nurse", named the woman as Jacintha Saldanha

An ambulance was called to the hospital this morning where she was found unconscious.

Paramedics made efforts to revive her but she was pronounced dead at the scene.

Sad. No matter if it's related to the incident or not.

Seems odd. Maybe it is just poorly worded.

She wasn't actually found at the hospital, at an address 'near' the hospital. Or so it's being reported in The Guardian.

you make a mistake involving someone with a lot of fans, the fans can come down on you really hard.

she messed with the wrong person. talk about a ton of bricks! actually the bricks are still falling.

I smell foul play by someone

and something like this pushed her over the edge.

and the press then committed suicide...seemed very suspicious and all the talk about previous issues was simply talk.

My gut reaction is some whacko who thought the nurse had harmed Kate in some way.

get any share of the blame for this? imho, the ones who made the call should not be held completely responsible.

They said and did nothing that was cruel or bullying or anything of the sort.

This is no different than the guys who prank called Palin in 2008 (but they actually got through to her).

The nurse must have been a severely troubled person.

There are some prank calls made by DJs where you just want to strangle them for their cruelty. This was not one of those.
