To Avoid Climate Catastrophe, We Need a Quick 80% CO2 Emissions Cut. We Can't Get a 3.5%/Year Cut.

So, we're in a race: How high can we push Global CO2 levels before the EFFECTS of Climate Change destroys Industrial Civilization.

We're at 392 ppm. Will we peak at 500 ppm? Can we last till 650 ppm? Who knows?

Here's the deal: how ever high we push the number, our children and our children's children will have to live with that for hundreds of years. Carbon is forever.
