He was way larger than life. I knew him well - his nieces and nephews are my close friends and so is his only surviving sister who was kidnapped in New York way back when.

What a wonderful experience it must have been for you to know this amazing man and be his friend.

Did you know that Jan and Wilson Harris were brothers in law.

Just a sidenote: The birth father of one of my adoptive grandsons is from Guyana.
