moon around with my best friend looking at our Beatles magazines and listening to Meet the Beatles. Every girl back in those days had a favorite Beatle. Paul often was their choice just because he was so darned cute and sang mushy songs. 
Probably because everyone else liked John and Paul.

I still have them all 
Martina and John McBride's recording studio in Nashville is named Blackbird Studios in honor of this song. John McBride is a HUGE fan of the Beatles.
