Grover Norquist insults Obama

NORQUIST: We got lots of things Obama claims to be for, and we will make — we, the Republicans in the House and Senate — will make him actually make those spending restraints, in order to get the continuing resolution out [for] a week, two weeks, a month. Obama will be on a very short leash, fiscally speaking, over the next four years. He’s not gonna have any fun at all. He may decide to go blow up small countries he can’t pronounce because it won’t be any fun to be here, because he won’t be able to spend the kind of cash he was hoping to.

Must sting a bit knowing that all you tried to accomplish is now a smoking ruin, and those that were formerly terrified of you now mock you openly.

was unindicted, so far, criminal Karl Rove not to mention the fourth corrupt member of that team, Ralph Reed who got off easy in the Abramoff affair.

And this is what happens when a country allows it's most corrupt, unethical morons get into positions power. In any decent society this group would be seriously marginalized and forced to commit their crimes the way other common criminals do, without using tax dollars to do so.

They hate Government, but not one of them has ever earned an honest dollar that they didn't in some take from US Taxpayers.

It is truly disgusting the way these Former College Republicans who hardly have a brain between them, together the likes of Breitbart, and their counterpart in the Third Way, Cohen, ever managed to get any kind of power and have been allowed to influence policies that decent people have to live with.

We need more than a Bill of Rights, we need a Bill of Ethics which anyone who touches government funds must be judged by first.

The Scum Also Rises! That is the problem we have in this country, scum like this are given respect and money when they should be shunned leaving to try their criminal activities outside of our government where they would be held accountable.

First he analyzes public criticism of Romney as "calling him a poopy-head" and now this. He seems to be emotionally stuck, Freudianly speaking, in the anal retention stage. I guess it doesn't help one's career as a Republican to try talking like an adult.

for the position of "Official Garden Gnome" of the Republican party, or simply wishes he could be transported back to Hollywood in the 1960's, where he could have served as Ronald Reagan's cabana boy.

... he has no understanding of Obama (or Democrats in general for that matter) at all. "Blowing up small countries" would not be an option, a consolation, or in any way a desirable diversion. He thinks this is some kind of game, mainly to wield power. He just doesn't get it.

It seems like Republicans are fond of the "let's preemptively debase the motives of 'the other' so as to hide our own self-serving intents". It's like when the guilty crook is obviously lying his impulse is to scream "liar" at his accuser. It works well with repukes with a below average IQ since they've already been Pavlovian conditioned to assume Democrats exist only to destroy everything they cherish and make them personally miserable.

It's just like the old Soviet propagandists or Maoists talking about how westerners were starving while their own people were starving due to their own fuck-ups. It seems there is some advantage to be had by completely inverting the truth. It looks ridiculously ironic from a sane perspective, but for the ideologue clinging to his/her delusion, since cognitive dissonance is intolerable, one must believe the Big Lie even more than the Small Lie.
