Harry Reid, bring an assault weapons ban to the floor TODAY!

Make the GOP filibuster this bill and then explain to the parents in Newtown, CT why they are doing so.

No rifles were banned, just cosmetic and ergonomic features.
Large capacity magazines that were banned are unreliable for anything other than range use.
Banning the manufacture of normal capacity magazines made no sense and only increased the price on the existing ones
The number of rifles sold skyrocketed but continued to be almost never used in crime. The "banned" rifles are now the most popular rifles sold.
Lots of democrats were voted out of office due to their votes for this useless legislation that paid nothing but lip service to crime control.
