He called battleground states like Michigan, Pennsylvania and Florida (which was stolen) accurately for Gore. He also nailed key senate races.

I don't know why they are so well known.
I am embarrassed to admit that during the Presidential race of 2008, I would stay up until midnight just to get the latest Zogby tracking poll data as soon as it was released. Why?

He was pretty accurate in the national poll, but no more so than anyone else. I don't remember how he did in the battleground states.
