if there are 2 Ryan Lanzas. I do genealogy, and with all my research, I can tell you that it's highly unusual that there are two people with that name. Not impossible, as these two may be named for a common ancestor. PO to speak at 3:15pm today...

And I would be inclined to think my stepsister was in denial, except for the fact that he's apparently alive and posting on FB that he is not the same Ryan Lanza. As people are posting Ryan Lanza pics and profiles willy-nilly, I thought it important to be a voice of caution, because as another poster said, there could be dangerous consequences for this Ryan Lanza if everyone jumps to the wrong conclusion.

This is getting downright ridiculous!

and last names are geographic - there are names that are common in one location that are not common generally. If you have a family move to an area and that original family had seven sons, then that name becomes a common name in that area.

...they probably have a common ancestor. They probably didn't even know each other.

Hopefully this Ryan Lanza will not get targeted by some hothead. :/
