the NRA and pro-gun solutions which do NOT require gun control

1) more armed people with weapons more powerful, more numerous and quicker firing than the criminals

2) teachers who are trained and armed with these weapons which they'll carry on their person

3) college professors, preachers, bosses, etc. all with weapons more powerful, quicker firing and loading than the criminals

4) people from all walks of life, at all ages, being trained extensively (but it will never be required) to own the most powerful weapons available, carry them on their persons, fire quickly, accurately at their targets, while still being assured that their targets are actually a threat.

5) continuing education credits for teachers will be able to be used exclusively for practice sessions at firing ranges and uniform and supply allowances will be allowed to be spent on guns and ammunition for the teachers.

6) physicians will be encouraged to carry guns, but will be prohibited by law from speaking to their patients about guns.

7) in order to preserve our freedom, not to own guns, but to own them WITHOUT ANY meaningful regulation, we will see the regulation of almost every other aspect of life to deal with the threat from increasing numbers of guns which are more powerful, quicker loading, quicker firing and have a greater ability to fire for longer periods.

8) increasing numbers of people in our daily lives killed by "friendly fire" designed to protect them.

9) holding stock in firearm and ammunition industries will offer superior rates of return over most other industries.
