Our true religion is death-worship, apparently.

God how our society loves this cycle. Mourn, tears, cry, love, mourn, cry, candles, messages, vigils. All crying, all caring, an orgy of it.

Then it's over. Then again the next time.

one of these horrendous events. We all go crazy about it for a day or two, but we never do anything to change it. We absolutely dote on it.
