The "It's not going to happen here" Myth..


I keep hearing that in the news report coverage..

There are kids in inner city schools who are afraid of going to school for fear of being shot themselves, or have seem someone they know shot..that is their everyday reality..

Folks think they have built "safe enclaves" away from violence or societal ills.,away from those they think cause those violence or societal ills..

Only to find that they live amongst them..

It "can't happen to us" mentality needs to stop

As long as we live in a country that puts Gun Ownership over available healthcare for mentally ill or the war on poverty for the inner cities that experience this on a day to day basis..

You either clean it away, vaccinate against it or wait until it infects the body.
