Some fine fellows feel I'm penis obsessed for remarking on the obvious resemblance of gun barrel and handle to penis and balls. And the other obvious correlation of firing a gun to ejaculation.

I also haven't heard of anyone using a snub-nosed weapon for a gun massacre.

Perhaps if enough penises dry up and fall off, men will believe guns aren't healthy.

Nothing else has worked.

If someone meets the entrance requirements this should be a celebration to true believers. I can't think of why all of them wouldn't feel this way. Anything else seems open to the possibility of doubt of their faith. I'm not sure how you can reconcile it any other way.

Maybe the only reason for being on Earth is to convert non believers. How many souls do they have to convert before the Lord blesses them with death? This is a sick way of thinking.

Life has senseless beauty and senseless tragedy and senseless is the common word. There is nothing to reconcile here. It's unrelenting horror. Perhaps Stephen King could make sense of this, but I doubt it.

We had gotten into a bit of talk on Thursday about abortion. I has proposed to her "If you were in a clinic and a fire broke out, and you could save 1,000 fertilized human eggs or a single 3-month-old baby, which would you do?"

She of course chose the baby.

I told her she made the wrong choice, because she is Catholic, and the Church is of the opinion that life begins at conception, and that each fertilized egg was as much of a life as the baby. I told her she had failed to save 1,000 people, and that the fact that she picked the baby over the 1,000 eggs proved that we all know there is a difference between a baby and an embryo.

So, with that backdrop, on Friday she said "well, now they're with God" or something like that, and I turned to her and snapped "well, so are all those aborted fetuses. Are you pro-choice now?"

These peoples' minds work in scary ways sometimes.

No. She not particularly well educated or intellectually curious. She's Vietnamese, and speaks the language fairly well, but doesn't do well with advanced concepts. She spends a lot of time with the Bridgeport Vietnamese community so I think she's in a little bubble of South Vietnamese Catholic refugees when she's not at work.

We have one Vietnamese guy there that can barely speak any English at all even though he's been here over a decade. He goes home and stays closeted within the Vietnamese community, so he never integrated.

As i've quoted Daniel Rosen, he said something like this about conservatives. They don't have ideas, they have interests. They are uninterested in principles but do want profits. In other words, they do not look any higher than themselves, they don't think things out with a view of equality or fairness, except if they get a benefit. Then the wails of being mistreated come out. They ignore what they do to others. They are not fit to govern, as they have no larger vision than their own prosperity. Sad this person won't look any farther than what she's programmed to do and think by the right, no matter who gets hurt. This is the result of the right destroying FAPE for all in this country. It's going to get worse before it gets better. A vision of unity is a hard thing to maintain without an enemy to fight against, which is also a manipulation.

That is CRUEL thinking. Not that I think he should, but I wonder if he would dare to say that in front of any of the families???

May he never be allowed within 100 feet of any of these families, unless, of course, it's without a body guard. Tell that to most grieving mothers and see just how far we've actually evolved from mama bears. Not far, actually, and just as deadly. I wouldn't have any trouble scratching this mans eyes out at the time and maybe a little, tiny bit of remorse later. Maybe not. Fucking asshat, he is.

Why were these children, so young, too young to comprehend what was even happening to them, murdered in cold blood and a person like this, a stain upon our humanity is walking around talking horseshit like this? It's times like this when the unfairness of this world really hits home. Damn.
