Gun Enthusiasts And NRA Believe We Should Own Bazookas, Rocket Propelled Grenade Launchers, etc

If you follow the logic of the NRA and pro gun lobby we should be able to own any kind of weapon we want under the Second Amendment. As I posted earlier there was a video on Youtube of a firing range there there was a variety of weapons being used that would make people shudder. The fact that one of the Columbine shooters almost got access to an M-60 machine gun is amazing.

I now know how nuts we are because if the NRA demanded the right to own a bazooka or a 20MM anti aircraft gun and a candidate ran against such madness they would be completely toasted at the ballot box.

If support of the NRA was the path to power I believe that the GOP would not care how many children would pay the price, they would support NRA policy if they knew they would win. They are that extreme.

Well, no. The NRA has never lobbied to overturn the NFA, which is the 1934 law that makes things like Uzi's and AK-47's illegal.

The fact that one of the Columbine shooters almost got access to an M-60 machine gun is amazing.

What do you mean "almost got access"? They may have gone to a range that has one that you can pay to fire for a few minutes. But they didn't almost get to take one home.

I missed it. What made you shudder about it?

The clueless hyperbole is disheartening, but no side has a corner on the screed market. We can and should be better than that...point that out and you get alerted with a 3-3 decision.

Perhaps I can take the excess and dry, smoke, freeze or can it so I can to resell it to some preppers concerned about a shortage. Wait, I've got it! A new dessert idea; screed a la mode!

The second only says "arms", it doesn't specify what sort of arms at all. If you believe that private individuals have a right to bear arms then it's any and every kind of weapon.
