Gun incidents we *can* support

Yesterday in Baltimore there was a gun buy-back at an inner city shopping center. 461 guns were exchanged for donated Christmas gift cards.

Last month, out in the red suburbs, there was a similar incident at a local shopping area on its small town "Main Street" area.

Two churches in Baltimore collected several dozen guns last month in ongoing programs.

This has happened in New York. In Chicago. In Los Angeles.

It has happened in countless venues in countless places countless times.

And it has made only a very small dent in the mountain, the SEA of guns in which we are awash.

The government could get involved in this.

It would be a start.




And to those would object to this as a use for the tax dollars, shut the fuck up. You're a big part of the cause of this, you and your unwillingness to pay for the Common Weal.
