I never understand religious zealots.

Why would you worship someone who is so vindictive that, if slighted, he would allow the slaughter of innocent children?

Either the all-knowing, all-loving and all-powerful 'god' couldn't stop this tragedy or chose not to stop this tragedy.

Either way, NOT a god worth worshiping.

what the zealots want isn't prayer in school.
they want FORCED prayer in school.

those who want to pray can always pray and have always done so.
what they want is to make sure that those who DON'T want to pray are forced to do so.

For those who don't, the prayers don't do a damn thing, not even comfort. So, if prayers give you comfort, please continue.

Do they do any actual good, beyond making you feel better? No. They don't change the situation. So, if you really want to do some good, work for change. The dead are dead, and beyond our protection, but those who are living will need it.

one's who want the 2nd ammendment to mean any weapon at anytime for any reason.. "Don't take my Guns away".. "you'll have to pry it out of my dead cold hands".

The zealots are so damned confused and lied to and listen to Faux and Rushbo.. its just sad that they are in a fearful, deranged state of living. Its really sad, and dangerous to the rest of us who live in the real land and deal with real facts and actually want to try and solve the issues that are causing the problems in the world that we face.... And its not going to be done with only prayer and a gun.

These people don't get that their incessant posts about religion are pushing me farther away from god. They have never brought me closer.
