I really like this state police spokesman in CT

He isn't letting the media razzle him. He won't put out a timeline for reports to the media. He seems to understand that a thorough investigation takes time. And who knows how much time they will need. He also just said if he sees dishonest reporting, especially on social media, that's against the law and those reporters will be prosecuted.

as the shooter or members of the shooter's family on social media. I assume that could be prosecuted as some type of fraud.

The medical examiner on the other hand needed to watch his mouth yesterday. I am not sure they wanted all that information out yesterday. Couldn't believe some of that stuff the guy was saying.
The state police spokesman seems very professional and I know we all want to know what happened right away, but there are so many factors involved I would rather the news media wait for the official word.

...him from the start. He is very cool and is a no BS guy. I remember asking myself how he could be so professional in light of what happened in his community.
