General Discussion
Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsIndividual gun ownership is dropping, while gun sales are increasing.
So the gun nut with 47 guns is everyday, becoming the face of gun ownership.
This will not stand. As our population increases and the political preference of these gun nuts diminishes, America will not tolerate the state of gun extremism.

I would add, that there are plenty of folks with only a few guns who are extremist too.

(54,770 posts)Personally, anybody who bought weapons this weekend should have been considered a "sicko" until proven otherwise.
I pulled over and watched the f&*kers going into a local gun store after the 2008 election. Exactly what I expected, more than a few confederate flag tags/decals, McCain, those who drool over military type guns, and worse.

(54,770 posts)Personally, I would not be bragging about your gun profiteering right now. But, some people have poor taste.

(60,567 posts)I'm talking about paper gains here.
How do you feel about people who profit by selling their stamp collections? Do you hate them too?
Hoyt
(54,770 posts)Now I understand why the gungeon devoted always ask -- as soon as a shooting happens -- what kind of gun was used.
Are stamps used to kill people? If not, I hope they make a lot.
Would love for gun "investors" to either have them confiscated or get stuck where they are almost impossible to sell. The threat of that is something Congress should consider, that would stop gun sales dead in their tracks.
