I am a product. The more people die from my use, the more product I sell. What am I?

I am guns.

If I pitched this marketing plan to investors, I'd be run out on a rail.

Yet GUNS:

Inelastic demand;
Dealers everywhere - legit and on the DL;
Fanatical consumers;

Are guns a religion?
