Josh Brent on sidelines with Dallas Cowboys.

Brent was charged with intoxication manslaughter after the unfortunate car crash that left his teammate Jerry Brown dead. He's out on 500k bond and the team has pledged to support him; he's using the services of the Cowboys's counseling staff. Today, the team welcomed him to be on the sidelines during their game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

At Brown's memorial service, his mother urged people to forgive Brent, as she has done.

Even still, I am having a difficult time with the Cowboy's decision. I do not think it's appropriate.

It is great that he is using the Cowboy's counseling staff. It is awesome that his team his supporting him. It is divine and beyond words that Brown's mother has the strength and courage to forgive.

But I do agree with you that Brent should not be on the football field, even on the sidelines. That was and is not a cool thing.
