So many of us post about gun restrictions

and gunners reply with their vast knowledge of gun types and gun history.
What's up with that? I don't give a shit about what gunners know about guns.
I want to know what the fuck they're going to do about the culture of violence their fetish is putting on the rest of us.

There is no defensible argument as to why gun laws should be as permissive as they are in the US, or why we should continue to endure rates of gun violence and homicide that are some 5X higher than the rest of the developed world.

So instead they insist that if you can't name every little gun part, then you can't have a valid opinion on gun control.

Apparently to them, if you don't know the difference between a magazine and clip, you can't express an opinion about the gun situation in this country.

Of course, if you do know the difference they have another line of BS to deflect criticism.

When ever pro-RKBA Democrats try to engage in a discussion, the anti-RKBA types always retreat to invective as though name-calling will win the debate.

for a clear voice in the din of bullshit and hatred we have to endure as fellow Democrats through this trying time. I have cried many times in the last few days over the murder of these little babies.
I forgive the haters in DU I think that is the way they are trying to come to terms with this. We are all trying to and none of us have the answers.

problem. I have yet to see any post from the gunners willing to change the status quo.
The dicission to make changes in gun laws will be made without your inputs I think.
No one is hating people but they hate the gun culture and the bullying that comes from the gun loby.
You can cry about the children but talk to us what you plan to do about it.

which bans or restricts certain types of weapons, the details of those weapons becomes important. You can't really talk specifics about that sort of gun policy without knowing about the guns you're talking about.
