...guns, but I still chose the "None of the above" option simply because the crime is still being investigated and there's more to learn.

"inadequate availability of mental health care" would be my next choice, but, that's an "NRA talking point"... at least from what I've been reading here.

as evidenced by a large proportion of entertainment and media, versus loving and constructive behavior/media/entertainment.

...may want to kill. But it's the GUN that kills. A murderer without a gun is like a cook without a stove. They may accomplish what they want, but it's a lot harder.
