why don't the gun fetish kid killers use automatic weapons?

Soledad had a gun proponent guest who corrected her when she said that many of the killings in the past 15 years involved "automatic" weapons. He corrected her and said they were "semiautomatic". I wish she would have asked him why they dont use automatics.

There weren't 100 million automatic weapons in the hands of legal owners when they were restricted.

The rest of us lesser animals have to buy one registered prior to 1986 and pay a $200 tax.

They cost too much and there's too much scrutiny for the nutballs who go on shooting sprees.

Not one of these spree killers has been a real gun enthusiast (thankfully), they're troubled adolescents for the most part.
