The answer here is also simple. The economy continues to improve.

Democrats need to FIGHT FOR working Americans, not simply fuck them a little less than the Republicans do.

6. Let the Tea Party drive the GOP over the crazy ledge.

To the GOP:

You want to mobilize the Hispanic vote AGAINST you? Keep talking about electrifying border fences, denying basic services to relatives of non-citizens, your plans to deport people, and your refusal to allow non-citizens a path to citizenship.

You want to mobilize and maximize black turnout? Keep letting your followers shout stuff like "String him up!" when you mention the President.

You want to mobilize more women against you? Keep talking your "pro-life" talk.

You want to mobilize the GLBT community against you? If you're Gingrich, I guess you just don't even bother with subtlety - just tell them to vote for President Obama.

Let them keep talking. Let them out-crazy each other as they compete for primary delegates.

I read that Charles Barkley said he was a Republican until the GOP 'lost their minds'. Not only will they alienate minorities, they'll push away the saner, more reasonable members of their party.

8. Democrats articulated in short sentences and slogans accomplishments

and goals, pounded them in 7x24. And the economy also improved.

Dems communicated well the accomplishments and goals. And managed to pound them past MSM often lacking decent journalism and unbiased reporting.

9. Re: How do we WIN in 2012? - Good Question!

As for this part: "We wake up, we have huge majorities in the Senate and House and the President is re-elected." - Did you fall down the rabbit hole with Alice? Even if President Obama does manage to get re-elected (and if he does it will only be because the opposition is utterly beyond the pale of ridiculous), those huge legislative majorities you speak of are surely the result of one too many mushrooms.

11. If Obama does win in a landslide...

I am not using anything. We could lose this election. We could lose it badly.

However, if the economy continues to improve, and Newt is the opposition at the top of the ticket, it could be a good year.

THe Senate map is a little rough, but we could get up to 56 or 57 senators, I think.

We are defending way more Senate seats then they are. Some like Utah are Republican locks to hold on to, some they will pick up (ND or SD has a Democrat retiring that's going puke), and one we have a chance to pick up (Scott Brown's MA seat). If we pick up a net total of two it'll be amazing, and I'll take it.

16. Way to win is to have our side vote for our dem candidates more than the other side votes for theirs
Mon Jan 23, 2012, 03:40 AM

If 'every' Democratic candidate in 'every' Senate and House race receives more votes then the GOP candidate we win

If President Obama gets at least 270 electoral votes - HE / WE WIN

Be sure that all your friends, family members, and neighbors are registered to vote!
