Netanyahu lauds Kerry nomination for U.S. secretary of state job

http://news.yahoo.com/netanyahu-lauds-kerry-nomination-u-secretary-state-job-191806222.html

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Saturday welcomed the appointment of his personal friend John Kerry as U.S. secretary of state and described him as "a known supporter of Israel's security".

President Barack Obama nominated Kerry on Friday, calling the veteran U.S. senator the "perfect choice" as America's top diplomat.

Netanyahu said in a statement: "I congratulate John Kerry on being chosen for the position of U.S. Secretary of State. Kerry is very experienced and is a known supporter of Israel's security."

With one stroke, Obama, egged on by McCain and the others who borked Susan Rice, has put a Senate seat at risk AND given Netan-yahoo a stiffy. It's a win-win!

And probably with more conviction.

Sad fact is that no matter who's in hte position, our foreign policy is going to remain the same; Kill Arabs, fight leftism, support tyrants who have stuff we want. Kerry, Rice, whoever - we could plug Kucinich into the role and I guarandamntee you, nothing would change. He'd just make a lot of excuses for why it's necessary to "stay the course" set all those years ago by Truman.
