The Pentagon

supposedly the main protector of our freedom, quite possibly is itself our greatest threat to personal liberty.

The US military has been remarkably resistant to coups etc. and tries to stay the hell out of politics. They have upon occasion been dragged into it by the civilian government.

If you don't like where the UAV or Tomahawk are striking, talk to the civilian administration, not the military.
