bear with me here.......funny how many of the nation's top football/basketball powerhouses are in red states. Many of the fans of these schools are morons that operate at an elementary school level (hence, Faux news which speaks at their level is all they can understand). Well.......if you target the parents of the athletes and the athletes themselves and make them see the big picture things could change. These people are like children....if top athletes quit going to these red state football and basketball powerhouses(including my beloved Hoosiers, ha) and the athletes and their families let it be known they don't want to go to schools in states with idiot representatives things could change. If Kentucky, Kansas, Indiana, Arizona, etc. in basketball, and virtually any SEC school in football begin losing top athletes as a result of how their idiot citizens vote.....you might see a shift in the thinking of these idiots as they'll lose it if their beloved schools in their favorite sport start laying eggs year after year regardless of who they bring in to coach. Example: if Nick Saban of Alabama suddenly could only produce 6-6 teams, not because of any deficiencies in coaching ability, but because athletes, out of conscience decided NOT to play for a team in a given state because of the politics within that state. Think about it....it may be a way to nudge their primitive thinking in a new direction...thoughts?

(5,417 posts)Great athletes want to go to schools with great coaches, where they can play on a national stage. They are not going to base their decision on politics. Plus many of these students really don't care about politics, since the average 18 year old doesn't follow politics.
