Freezing rain is also being forecast so we might get a little less than that. I don't like hearing about freezing rain since that's what brings power lines down. Thank goodness for gas powered generators.

It was supposed to snow, but we didn't get flake one! I hate snow, but since my partner is home for the week and I had no where to go, I was hoping for a few inches, then it could melt away. I feel cheated.

I don't like these storm systems at all. Right now, at this very moment, on the Weather Channel, they are talking about thunder snow and tornado watches galore. My exact area is under the highest threat for tornadoes in the morning and tomorrow afternoon. I'm not looking forward to that at all. I'm terrified of tornadoes and damaging winds.

I honestly expected a punch line with your subject title, lol.

There will be less traffic as most people are off. some will be shopping though. I will be staying in. Snow on the ground and minus 16C up here. (2F)

I have snow and ice winter tires on my car. I can depend on getting where I want to go. I thankful to be retired and can stay in.
I hope everyone who has to go out stays safe.

so I took the two cats outside and placed (as opposed to throw) them in the snow. This is their first experience with snow. It was funny. They are now enjoying sitting inside watching the birdfeeder.
