I really don't give a happy damn about David Gregory and his prop. It should be quietly looked into and the appropriate action taken.
But noooooooooo!
We have a full-blown crisis that must be discussed because Breitbug or whoever has a clip up his a**.
I am sure Chief Cathy Lanier has much more important items to attend to, no?
The debate is about guns and what to do about access to them, checks on people who want them, and other points.
Meh!

The gun issue is really fascinating here because it divides DU up along different fault lines than the usual ones. I pretty much know where most of the regulars stand on most issues but watching the last week plus has been illuminating. A couple of times I've caught myself agreeing with people that I normally completely disagree with and it makes me reexamine what I'm thinking.
