look, if we're gonna have a billion arguments about one thing, the right ones should go here

see if you can guess which side i'm on- what i'm talking about is organized resistance

this statement- the NRA delivers VOTES!!
is highly flawed. to wit-

it gives up your status as an individual. do you have to be told who to vote for by someone?
show me a number of how many democrats there are in the nra- it is a political party.
the people who join have already decided how to vote.
the politicians already have that vote- they are afraid of the nra taking it AWAY.

SOME politicians care more about people than votes.

the ones that work for the nra care about MONEY
they get money by passing laws which improve gun maker's profits, which go TO the nra and then pols
the nra delivers the money to pols because their members buy LOTS of guns

so, really, you are voting for GUNS. if you want to give up your freedom, fine whatever.
kinda ironic, you think you are voting for your own freedom,
but the nra is really just one person with 4 million votes for GUNS.

****

if you want to argue with me, go ahead. i won't answer. i doubt i'll make another post in this thread, unless it gets really good.

if you AGREE with me, do the same thing- post a one sentence "position" or whatever that stuff is called, and DON'T ARGUE AT ALL

everybody else, just check here if you want to save time arguing. feel free to use my argument in anyway you want, IF YOU AGREE WITH IT

comments on exactly what kind of "statement" is involved here are welcome

if you don't agree, why are you here?

edit: feel free to condense mine to more direct language

pointless statistics as standard talking points. What in the hell difference does it make to those who are dead what kind of a gun killed them? 85 Americans die every day from guns. Homicide, or suicide, assault rifle, or .22 single shot -- it makes no difference because the NRA and NRA followers enabled and assisted with these unnecessary deaths. Americans are dying because of guns every day, and gun deaths are on pace to outnumber automobile deaths. But they want to have a discussion about which weapons are more efficient at killing?

Statistically speaking, Americans are more likely to die from guns than citizens from any other country in the world! Are NRA puppets proud of that fact as they hide behind the 2nd Amendment and twist its meaning? We hold the world record for gun deaths, and NRA people are proud of that? Statistically speaking, the NRA bought and paid for politicians who support gun manufacturers and their "right" to spread death and misery all across this country.

Keep using meaningless statistics to support these vile NRA-directed positions, and watch as the American people begin to dismantle their stranglehold on our communities. Recent polls show that the NRA is, at long last, losing the battle for your fight to place a gun in every hand, and for any reason.
