(6,095 posts)reason people elected them. Their crazy was not as apparent in the ads but the extremists were very well funded don't forget. The right created them and funded them to shoot down Obama's healthcare plans plus other initiatives, but they created monsters they couldn't stop.

(13,986 posts)before I vote- I look at quantified data when possible, check multiple sources and so on. And even then, I can get fooled again.

(46,230 posts)Someone I knew from grade school said that she liked Sarah Palin because she seemed spunky and fun. The Tea Party attracted voters who didn't want either a democrat or a standard republican.
Choices made without careful thought can have poor consequences.

(14,524 posts)Who the fuck is this "our" the rant speaks of. I haven't, didn't, and wouldn't ever vote for any Teabagger flake. In fact I worked hard against them. So, precisely how am I at fault that these nutjobs are in office?

The point is that people blame the senate, the house, the prexy, and so on. That is only appropriate when a candidate turns out not to be what they claimed to be during a campaign.
The voters have to own their choices, learn from them, and make better choices in the future.
