I got this from Facebook, it was posted by a FB friend. I personally find this disturbing and a tad on the insane side.

(1,277 posts)Sometimes I'll cut the cord entirely and unfriend, but usually keeping their garbage from appearing on my news feed suffices.

(487 posts)I have had friends shove Romney down my throat, so I just shoved back, showed them how he lied to them. They actually got pissed, which is a good thing. I told them things like Romney would be sending our family members to die in Iran, which is the truth. They didn't like being told that, they thought I was being insensitive. I started putting Obama organizations on and sending that stuff to them. Eventually they stopped their BS. Face book is what you make it, it is really good for family and friends as long as you respect others and don't try to sell them snake oil. LOL!

(27,630 posts)It's indispensible! You can hide posts instantly with one click, avoid seeing the friend's activity box on the right side of the screen, and it tells you who unfriended you.
That way, you don't have to unfriend anyone, you just hide their annoying stuff.

(46,179 posts)When a friend expresses something I disagree with on fb, I don't like or respond to it.
When they do it in person, I listen, I let them know that I heard them, and I quietly and respectfully disagree, or I don't respond to the content at all.

I have no problem with guns or gun owners. Where I draw the line is with people who have an absurd fetish that they deserve the right to mow down crowds of people at a time. Take responsibility, if you want this capability then you also are giving it to the assortment of unstable individuals who shouldn't. It's on you! I personally think your a moron and immoral fool for putting so many people at risk because of your love affair with a machine; but this country has dealt with worse realities than gun nuts.
If you are afraid and need protection get a shotgun for Christ sake. I can't tell you how many range rats I have known that take forever to line up their sights. 3 seconds is forever. If you don't pull your gun within 5 degrees of your target, every time you hold it up, plus your heart will be pounding, and mind racing your dead dumb ass.
