Shot Across the Bow From Tea Thugs

Tea Thugs and Boner would not schedule a vote tonight even if a deal was struck last week, or the day after the election. Reason? They want to demonstrate to President Obama that, with the debt ceiling, they are more than capable of crashing the economy to ensure they don't clobbered from the right in a primary in 2014.

Not new news, just a reminder about who we are dealing with. Fasten your seat belts, it's going to be a long Spring.

I think it was unforgiveable that the congress critters weren't back from Christmas break IMMEDIATELY. Boehner didn't even schedule the House back before last Sunday afternoon. He had no interest then or now of resolution. imho
