Suggested petition for the Repubs that voted against Hurricane Sandy disaster relief

Whereas the Republican majority in the House blocked passage of relief to the victims of hurricane Sandy, and whereas the majority of Republican House members come from “Red States”, and whereas these so-called Red States average providing $0.70 in Federal Revenue for every $1 in Federal spending to their states, it is necessary to take action to punish these Republican House members.

Therefore, this petition asks that all Federal Military bases located in states that have a Republican Governor and Republican Majority State Legislature, and all military bases located in districts represented by a Republican House member, be moved to states and districts represented by House Members that voted in favor of disaster relief. It is also petitioned that all members who vote against disaster relief for Hurricane Sandy be forever barred from requesting Federal Assistance for their districts and constituents.

It is hoped that this petition would give these House Republicans an example of what a government that can be drowned in a bathtub would look like.
