Reagan should have been impeached over the offense. THAT should have been the GOPs downfall. But money was their to save his ass.

"You know I had a concussion, right? That whole period until my fall is blanked out." Half the Republics on the panel would stroke out on the spot.

Ronald Reagan isn't the only (or most recent) Rethuglican to use that excuse when testifying, and HRC isn't even being accused of committing an illegal act (not yet, anyway).

He never was a good actor.

Great smile, tho.

To be fair, I don't think he knew what the hell was going on half the time. Nancy loved him but don't think she knew enough about politics - just what to wear, invite and serve...

Loveable, forgetful codger when the tour group goes through, mad ruler of the world as soon as they leave.

In real life though, shouldn't Reagan be a contender for the Guiness Book of World Records record for living with Alzhiemers? The average life expectancy after diagnosis was seven years at the time of Reagans death. Reagan lasted over 20 years with the diagnosis. It's pretty remarkable to survive over 20 years with a disease eating your brain.

same "problem" on DU in the past year. It's resulted in some people being offended, and even alerting on some OPs. Yet the harshest sarcasm should not require that the author chew & partially digest their work, before spoon-feeding the baby robbins.

Well done. Right on the mark.

I think that most folks take these issues so seriously, that it's hard to see past their very real and understandable concerns.

So, a little sympathy for humor-impaired.
