Day 1 in Harry Reid's world

Day 1 of the new Senate convening is when the rules of the Senate could be changed, and I so hoped a big change would happen - 51 vote Marjority instead of 60, filibuster, etc., and I thought all was lost.

But Harry Reed has changed Day 1 into a month and this stuff could still be changed. Don't know the exact details, if someone does, jump in..

Go Harry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's one of those names I look up every time I use it, but always get it wrong when I don't look it up anyway. At least I got Harry instead of Hairy right.

Thanks for the correction. Maybe NOW I'll remember...

Boxer, Levin to name two that I can remember, who said they wouldn't vote for it, or weren't there? Not sure why, and Rachel didn't seem to know why, either. Does anyone know, or have a theory of what's going on with this? I can't believe Barbara Boxer wouldn't vote for changing these failing rules.
