It may just be me but it sounded like there was a little slap to Reagan in the Republican response.

Right there at the start of the speech when he talked about the “Trickle down Economics”. He used the “Shining City on the Hill” to try to make up for it, but that first part seemed like a slap at Reagan to me.

It was a pay-back of the negative turn on Reagan's economics over the years as "trickle down economics."

"The President's grand experiment in trickle-down government has held back rather than sped economic recovery."


But, to me it sounded like a underhanded slap at Reagan, and I do hope many Reagan lovers hear it that way to. Muhahaha!
