And I'm sure he's never been clued in to a hot stock tip based on pending legislation from anyone in Congress, too. Give me a break...he protest a little too much, I think.

Chris: That came out of nowhere! What was he talking about? People all over will wonder!
Rachel: it was on 60 minutes
Chris (unspoken thought): oh, shit. That's not my network.
Chris (ten minutes later): the President talked about common sense. It's like he's watching our MSNBC ads!

(and a civic duty), which is why i read and hang out at DU. But if it was my JOB and i was as ignorant as Chris Matthews generally is about everything that doesn't happen on his own show, I'd be embarrassed.

that hit the media outlets. He may have been on vacation. That was around the holidays, I think.

I heard about it and dismissed it. With all the serious problems we have, that one is not on my radar. But he should've known, you're right. But some just hate Tweety no matter what. I don't understand why. But that's the way it is. Blind hatred for no apparent reason.

He should learn to just shut up about his own ignorance.

It is better to remain quiet and be thought a fool than to open your mouth and prove it.

Not the first time he's been clueless about something generally known in political circles.

Edited to add that perhaps he isn't computer literate. Anyone who spent half an hour a day on the Internet would be better prepared than he usually is.

As I watched, I thought maybe I had it wrong and has somehow missed something!!! SO STUPID...

Tweety should try selling a few less books and read a few more newspapers or something, and the funny thing is we get to see HIS SHOW twice..
