Both Hitler and Stalin rode into power on armed insurrections / domestic terrorism conducted at gunpoint. They didn't ban guns. They gained power THROUGH guns. In other words, gun fanatics have much in common with those two men. Those who say the purpose for the second amendment is to allow the people to overthrow a tyrannical government would fit right in at the Hitler or Stalin dinner table.

I think the world would be far better off without guns anywhere including the military!
