Cantor - real life version of LOTR's Wormtongue?

If you've read the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy, or seen the movies, then you know this comparison applies to more than just physical appearances. In the story, Wormtongue is known for planting lies and disinformation, and attempting to control others who are in positions of power.

The fact that Cantor somewhat resembles Wormtongue (remove the glasses, grow the hair longer) just makes even better.
