Early this morning I heard on the radio that Branstad was going to Cedar Rapids to be present

when the President is there. Report sounded like he had arranged his schedule to accommodate the President and that some spirit of goodwill was involved. By midmorning, I heard a second report with Branstad whining and complaining using the same R talking points about not creating pain for the job creators and too much regulation and government. I laughed till I cried.

But then Branstad definitely has no national ambitions, so he can do that.
