We can't prevent all cases of food poisoning

so let's not have food safety laws.
We can't save all lives in car accidents so why do we want to make cars safer?
We can't cure the common cold so why do we eat chicken soup?
Why have laws because criminals won't obey them anyway. Only the good guys will obey them.
